U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Awards i-Link Solutions New Integration and Architecture Services Contract

Two-year, $3.9 million contract focuses on modernization, digital transformation

HERNDON, VA—November 19, 2019—i-Link Solutions announced that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Systems Delivery Division (SDD) has awarded the software delivery and government modernization firm a new Integration and Architecture Services (IAS) contract to help accelerate the agency’s modernization efforts to achieve data sharing with internal and external data partners. Under this two-year, $3.9 million contract, i-Link is tasked with the development of application architecture patterns, tools and approaches. This will be accomplished through maintaining, updating and executing a framework for Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps), usability research and agile implementation.

“We are very pleased to be awarded this opportunity to support the modernization efforts of USCIS,”

said Chocks Solaiappan, Vice President, i-Link. “The work we are doing for our commercial clients is cutting-edge and we are bringing these same approaches to execute on the IAS program. This contract win underscores our growth and expansion in the government market, and the outcomes can serve as a template for other modernization initiatives.”
USCIS, housed within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), administers the country’s naturalization and immigration system. Presently, USCIS’ paper-based processing of immigration forms creates significant business and technology challenges, limiting the agency’s ability to efficiently address complex and evolving needs. To address this issue, i-Link will maintain, update and execute a framework for DevSecOps, usability research and agile implementation. The IAS contract includes developing and delivering three key workstreams over the period of performance, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Modernization; Integration Infrastructure Support and eProcessing Architecture support and third-party front-end support and middle tier work.
“i-Link’s strength lies in our ability to combine a highly-skilled and experienced workforce – with a reputation for innovation and reliability – with the appropriate technologies and methodologies to deliver the best solutions that meet and exceed our client expectations,” said Solaiappan. “Our agile team of experts ensures our customers are able to work at peak productivity, enabling more time to focus on strategic, mission-critical initiatives.”
