i-Link Solutions to Support the New York City Checkbook Program

i-Link Solutions is pleased to announce that they have earned a significant partnering role on REI Systems’ New York City Comptroller’s Office, Checkbook NYC award.

i-Link Solutions will be supporting REI Systems and New York City with hosting management and various other technical roles. In July of 2010 New York City launched Checkbook NYC, an online transparency tool that for the first time placed the City’s day-to-day spending in the public domain. Using an intuitive dashboard approach that combines a series of graphs and user-friendly tables, Checkbook NYC provides up-to-date information about the City's financial condition offering New Yorkers an increased level of online transparency for the City’s day-to-day spending in the public domain.

For tracking government spending by the United States Public Interest Research Group.

And named New York City 2013 “Best External Application” by Government Technology Magazine.

The i-Link Solutions team will be working with and through both functional and technical project team members. Firstly, the delivery products in an agile manner.  Second, the support which includes providing custom computer systems design, database administration and quality assurance support to the Checkbook program. i-Link also manages the hosting of the infrastructure for the Checkbook program using Rackspace ensuring greater flexibility and scalability.
